Parry’s is a chain known mainly for its New York–style pizza (sort of), full menu, craft beer, and yes wings. For the pizza they do run a great Monday deal: $12.99 for an 18″ cheese pizza (at the time of this review). Cheap, filling, and way better than Domino’s.

Going in, I wasn’t expecting much from Parry’s wings. It’s a chain, and pizza is clearly the main focus. I was pleasantly surprised.

Wings Overview
These are surprisingly good wings. A few were on the small side, but crispiness was absolutely on point. Pricing was also better than expected, putting them on the favorable side of the wing value spectrum.

Taste & Texture
I ordered the wings XTRA crispy, and they came out exactly that – extra crispy. No complaints there. I went with the dry rub, which was very lightly seasoned and honestly a bit disappointing. Luckily, I also ordered the Extra Hot sauce on the side, which turned out to be very good and saved the situation.

The meat was good quality with a clean pull from the bone. The only real downside was size – about 10% of the wings were tiny. Some of the smallest wings I’ve ever seen. Thankfully, it wasn’t the majority.

Veggies were just okay, and the blue cheese tasted like Kraft-style jar dressing – not great, not terrible.

Price
Prices vary by location, but at the time of this review, wings averaged about $1.50 per wing. That’s a solid price point in the current Colorado Springs wing market.

X-Factor
There isn’t a strong X-factor here, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The sports-bar vibe is solid, the wings are crispy, and prices are fair. Parry’s is a good spot to grab a decent wing, enjoy a beer, and have other menu options without breaking the bank.
